Alpha Financial Markets Search & Consulting Ltd (Alpha Financial) is a global company which is headquartered in Jersey, Channel Islands and any personal data you provide to Alpha Financial is treated in accordance with the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018. This meets the requirements of the GDPR. Your data may also be transferred to countries in and outside of the EU where we conduct our business. In the case of information provided to potential employers outside of the EU, we will only provide this to a company where you give us your express consent. Where data is transferred outside of Jersey, it may be subject to lawful requests from governments, courts, or law enforcement in those countries.


Alpha Financial takes the privacy, and therefore security, of your information very seriously. We take numerous steps toward ensuring your data remains secure. These security measures include: encryption, access controls (including two factor authentication), password policy, remote access policy, mobile device policy, confidential information policy, advanced threat detection, and audit logging.  Our systems are ISO 27001 accredited and are therefore compliant with the strict security measures of the authorising body. Where your data is transferred outside of Jersey, Alpha Financial will take steps to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected.

We process personal data on you that we receive from you directly which is provided to our employees by you via telephone or email. This may include your name, address, contact details, educational and work history, and your curriculum vitae. We may also obtain some personal data from publicly available sources, such as LinkedIn, where this relevant to providing you with services. We do not purchase, nor sell any data from or to 3rd party vendors, nor participate in e-marketing activities. Nor is your data subject to automated decision making.

We process your personal data for the purposes of providing Talent Acquisition consultancy and associated support services. We therefore have a legitimate interest in processing your data, in conjunction with you, in order to provide Talent Acquisition consultancy services to our clients. Your personal data may be shared with potential employers in consultation with you. We will only pass your personal data on to potential employers with your express permission. We will seek this permission every time we propose to share your personal data to a new potential employer.

Where you have provided your consent to our processing of your data, to it being sent outside the jurisdiction, or for it to be provided to a third party such as a potential employer, you can withdraw your consent at any time in writing. Please note, we may not be able to ensure that your personal data is returned or deleted from third parties in or outside the jurisdiction.

Unless you expressly ask us to keep your personal data on file for a longer period, we will retain your curriculum vitae for 10 years after a successful placement. Where you decide not to proceed with our services for any reason without us finding a placement we will retain your data for 3 years from the date of our last communication with you. We retain your data for these periods for the purpose of establishing or defending any of our legal rights.

You have certain rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to access the data we hold on you, the right to rectify or erase your data, and the right to transfer your data. All of these rights will be dealt with in accordance with the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018. Please note that we may refuse to comply with a request for erasure or rectification in certain circumstances, in particular where we have a legal right or obligation to retain that data.
